Unable to connect to wdmycloudmirror

I can no longer connect using the WD My Cloud app (it asks for the password but then spins the working icon until eventually says it cannot connect), cannot access network shares (any of them), cannot connect via mycloud.com, and can’t connect if I try to browse to the IP address or name. I am able to get pings back from the IP address assigned to it but when I resolve the hostname I get wdmycloudmirror.home, not wdmycloudmirror.

Something strange is going on and powering it off and back on did not fix it.

Using the My Cloud app, if I search for devices on my network it finds WDMyCloudMirror with an IP address, but clicking on connect eventually fails.

How do I get this back online?
