WD TV Live Hub Frozen during upgrade

Hey,

I just purchased the WD TV Life Hub yesterday, and the moment i connected it, it recommended a firmware upgrade → so i did so (to 2.6.10) post that the box was crashing every few minutes (it wasn’t able to compile my library). I read somewhere on the forum to disconnect the ethernet cable, and did that. That did serve the problem. However, i didnt want a box i couldnt connect to the internet.

I (attempted to) downgrade to 2.4.13.

During the rollback, the box just seemed to freeze on the screen where it says DO NOT UNPLUG USB or POWER. I let it remain on that screen for 3 hours (at 0% installation progress) and finally shut it down.

Now when i turn it on, it just freezes on the initial WD Live Hub screen and has no signs of any activity.

Any advice?

UPDATE:

I tried again a few hours later, and manually managed to bring back 2.6.10. However my box was still freezing after a few minutes on keeping the ethernet plugged in. I then tried to downgrade to 2.4.13 once again; this time i was successful!

However, the box still crashes when connected to the internet, even when its on 2.4.13. I hope WD gets a bugfix very soon on the issue we’re facing with Ethernet and Firmware.
