WD sends a new or refuebished drive, under RMA?

I’m sending out a defective WD40EZAZ to WD USA for replacement under RMA, after confirmed by support as bad.

Will WD send me back a new or refurbished drive?
Will the remaining time of warranty I have for the bad drive, be kept for the replacement drive as well?

Western Digital warrants that the replaced Products are covered for the remainder of the original Product warranty or 90 days, whichever is greater.

RMA again, and guess what? Yup, it goes bad in less than a month. It’s not just with the WD5000BEVT. I’ve RMA 'ed other models of WD drives.

I ended up returning my WD Blue to the store and replaced with a Seagate Barracuda. Never in my life I came across a situation in which 2 new HDD were DOA! I also found talking to WD support that intl. warranty isn’t respected if purchased in certain countries. I’ll never ever buy WD again.
