Hello
I have purchased and installed brand new DR red NAS hard drives in to the new server station. On initial boot up none of hard drives is detected in BIOS and none of them is showing any sign of life. I tried to install them in already running windows computer with operating system, but they are not showing up there either and I can’t hear they spin or showing any other signs of life.

if they do not turn on when you first connect them to power, they are clearly broken/dead.
Once, my broken PSU roasted a few of my drives (overvoltage). do you maybe smell something?
Either way: Time for some WD RMA
