Hello,

I have an old NetCenter hard drive. I would like to dispose of it but I want to format the hard drive first to erase any data on it. How can I connect the hard drive to a computer to format it?

I have Windows 7 but I also have Ubuntu. If I could access this drive via Ubuntu and write zeros across the drive, that would be great.

go to the data lifeguard tools in the wd website and use that tool to write zeros to the hard drive
