Not sure if this is the right category. I have an external WD My Passport drive which I use on Mac. Not sure if it was sold as a specific one for Mac. If I am in the wrong section, please would someone tell me which one applies?
Problem: Drive does not mount! It was fine until two days ago after I moved every single photo and photos library from two Macs then deleted them all from Macs (one needed space and the other is going to recycling).
I was at the Apple Store and three Geniuses said they could see the drive in Disk Utility (or somewhere like that) but it would not mount. They said I’d need to get data recovery and maybe WD warranty would cover? It is about 2-1/2 yrs old. What do I do? Thanks
