WD my could app can't show thumbnail of photo in android device

Hi All,

Do you have same experience?

I am using My Live Book Duo 6TB model with the latest firmware.

I put my photos in a private folder , only me and my family members have access to it only.

From my android phone, latest version of WD my cloud app installed,  when I read the photos, it only shows an camera icon instead od thumbnail.

Since a friend of mine, he is using a newer my cloud ex, on his phone’s WD my cloud, it can view photos’ thumbnail.

I am not sure this features can be enabled by setting or it is limitation of my live book duo ?

Hope some experts can answer my question.

Hello,

Have you tried doing a rebuild or rescan? Before trying this you should uninstall and reinstall the app.

Check page #114 of the user’s manual for more information.

I have tried rescan function.

Also, I have uninstalled the app and reinstall in my android phone.
