WD Backup does not see drive, but computer does

I erased my drive and reloaded WD Discovery, which I installed. Now WD does not see the drive. It does appear in file explorer. Data Lifeguard says nothing is wrong with the drive, but WD Backup says it’s offline.

Hi, I downloaded a newer copy of it, and it works, but also maybe this: If you install the executable from the passport, it installs the program on the passport, and that’s why it doesn’t see it. You need to drag it to the machine you want to back up, and install it there.
