I updated the firmware to the newest release, and now, I can’t find my computer as a network share on the wdtv. Any ideas?

Make sure to reset the media player so it will be rediscovered on the network.
For anyone having this issue, I reset my router and that did the trick.
I ran a command prompt (start → run → cmd) and typed in “net view” to see what was on the network. It was giving me back an error that it couldn’t contact the network, or something like that. I figured that was strange, so I reset the router, and voila!
