UNKNOWN ERROR when trying to update. Help!

So I followed this instructions on this post to update my firmware, which I need to be able to use the itunes server since this firmware version has some sort of bug with itunes

http://community.wd.com/t5/WD-My-Cloud/Resolved-iTunes-is-unable-to-access-the-Shared-Libraries-on-the/m-p/804773#U804773

And when I try to upload the downloaded file manually, this is what it says:

Error

  • Unknown error. Retry your last operation. If the error persists, contact WD Support for assistance. (200000)

  • firmware update failed

I’ve tried several times, but always the same message.  I have a new mac retina, and the os is totally up to date.

Please help!

Welcome to the Community. The update process is recommending to contact WD Support for a reason.

Please note that this has been fixed in the latest Firmware Release 4.01.00-408.
