Unable to connect time machine - keep getting same error

My Cloud OS 3 Personal & Network Attached Storage My Cloud

ERROR MESSAGE: Check the server name or IP address, and then try again.
problem connecting to the server ‘WDMyCloud’

  • checked user / pass
  • able to login to cloud
  • unable to connect time machine back up
  • on mac
  • have the app downloaded
  • both computer and MyCloud on same server

HELP!

Hi havenautism,

When are you getting this error message? Also, try to re-configure the time machine abckup and connect the my cloud as a guest user.
