Two WD nas devices on one network

hi,

i have a WD sentinel which has been working fine, and i could access it remotely on

subdomain.remotewebaccess.com (after i had set up port forwarding manually - it didnt work automatically)

i recently got a WD Mycloud, which has been connected to the same network.

both devices are connected to the same router, by wire. have different IP addresses, and i can connect to both without issues, from the same network.

i can connect to this remotely via Wd2go.com and appropriate user name password etc,

however, i cannot now connect to the WD sentinel remotely.

(makes sense, since port 80 and 443 are now being forwarded to the WD Mycloud).

my question is - is there any simple way that i can have the WD sentinel also accessible remotely?

thanks.

It should be automated NAT by your router’s upnp. Else you’ll need to manage your ports manually. For WD MyCloud, go to its Dashboard settings and set the ports manually. Settings->Cloud Access->Remote Access->Configure. I’m not sure about WD Sentinel but I assumed it’s almost the same concept.

Then setup manual port forward on your router to each device based on the settings above.

eg.

WD MyCloud  -  IP:192.168.1. 1 : 8 080/ 8 443

WD Sentinal   -  IP:192.168.1. 2 : 9 080/ 9 443
