can’t seem to understand where are my files.
I have the “My Cloud Home” 6TB drive, and also the “my Cloud Home Duo” 8TB (which is 2X4TB mirrored). let’s focus on the Duo.
I’ve browsed to the network location using the “\MYCLOUD-XXXXXX” method and see a public share, and put a text file there for testing (let’s call it Text1)
then I’ve downloaded the WD Discovery tool which found both devices (again let’s focus on the same 8TB Duo drive) as drive Y: and in it there is a completely empty space. if i create a file in it, let’s say Text2, which also appears on the website.
so what gives? why there are 2 different areas in the drive?
