Turning OFF cloud access after it's on

My Cloud OS 3 Personal & Network Attached Storage My Cloud EX2

So how can i disable cloud access after i apparently accidentally turned it on and regain local access to my device and dashboard.
when i try and connect via the device name or IP address i get this:

“You don’t have permission to access / on this server.”

So dumb-dumb made a rookie mistake…trying to figure out how to correct this.
