TimeMachine is not working well with My cloud

Dear everyone,

I have one problem with the job and the communication Mac (Time Machine) and MyCloud , serial number WCC7K3FD2NX8 and firmware 5.21.104. How I can solve this urgent problem?

I´m looking forward to your response.

Thanks.
Best regards.

A suggestion. It would help if you told people what exactly was your problem. Hard to provide solutions or troubleshooting steps without more information about what exactly is the “urgent” problem and what if any error messages are being displayed.

If you haven’t seen the following WD Knowledge Base article you may want to see the Troubleshooting section of it.

The AFP protocol is no longer supported on later OS5 firmware versions. More information and more Knowledge Base Articles on Mac Time Machine can be found in the following link.

Apple File Protocol (AFP) is no longer supported on My Cloud OS 5 firmware 5.19.197 and higher. For more information, please refer to Answer ID 32003 My Cloud OS 5: macOS Time Machine “Backup Disk Not Available” or Finder “Connection Error”

Well, as the creator describes roughly an issue I have also, I will provide details.
Since updating to the latest firmware 5.21.104 my MacBook can’t create new backups on the Time Machine. I always get the message that the image is already in use.
I disconnected the Time Machine volume on my MacBook and tried to add it again as my backup volume but after connecting it still says the image is already in use.

This is not related to the issue after the AFP removal. I already followed the instructions earlier this year and it worked for other firmware versions later than 5.19.197.
