System Check Issue

Hello,

My WD Mycloud EX4100 has been saying system busy for 4 days now, it also says system in standby mode as well when i press the up button on the drive. Its a full 4TB drive. Any idea how long this takes as i am unable to use it while this is happening? I have tried to reset the drive from behind but that does nothing when i hold that in.

Any help would be great.

Hello,

It seems your My Cloud EX4100 is trying to read the disks. So, try accessing the dashboard in order reboot the device from there.

If you are unable to access the dashboard, take the internal drives out of the enclosure and put them back in the same order. Then try to reboot the device from the dashboard again.

Hello, i have maganged to get it to start up so i can access it now but it is telling me that drive 1 is 95% full, i have 2 drives in there. Is there away of it just automatically moving stuff over to the 2nd drive or will it fill the 1st 1 then start to fill the 2nd?
