Hi WD team, do you guys have any plans to create an agent for OS Linux and Windows that allows us to sync our files with the NAS? Basically a personal Dropbox. That would be a game changer.

Goodsync works out the box. Little setup required.

GoodSync is not free as it implies and asks for your windows account and password

Do you know what the Goodsync client is really doing on your workstation? I am afraid not. It is just a third party app and nobody can be sure that they don’t spying on you. Reason enough for me that i will never install it.
Your own fault if you install it!

It’s easy to use and it can be started automatically.
OMFG I am getting there… I am so sick of the WD system, my staff have so much trouble accessing the drive for work…
Now Ive updated and NO one has access…
I’m using syncthing with windows and android.
