I’m thinking of buying a WD My cloud Duo or My cloud mirror to back up my iMac and iPads etc… As I am new to this can someone tell me if there is a difference between them. Also if I buy a 4 TB does that mean I get 2 TB of storage (due to the mirroring)?
I will be grateful for any advice.

I can answer the second question: With the Mirror you decide if you would like one 4 TB drive (using two drives) or you want to mirror two drives which gives you 2 TB on each drive (RAID 1). So yes, due to Mirroring you only get 2 TB.
