Tony, I’d like to report that the 1.06 does not fix the MKV PGS subtitles, not on my Live plus at least.
I had updated my Live Plus to 1.06 and tried with 2 Blu-ray MKV rips (The Karate Kid and The A-Team), none show subtitles.
Anyway, it plays chapters without any problem.

Not according to how I’m understanding the release notes:
Resolved issue where some PGS subtitles would not display in MKV container.
WD seems to be saying they should be displaying now. Or, at least “some” PGS subs should be displaying now.

Well, that’s an encoding issue… I can always tell where I am and where I want to go because I encoded my files that way:
