There seems to be a great App to stream your music from My Home Cloud to a Sonos system. However be warned it will not work! It has taken me many weeks to final get to the bottom of the issue see below from WD engineering department…
‘The My Cloud Home Private Space does not use SMB1 as it is locally mounted onto the computer via the WD Discovery software.’
So all the WD processes and Apps that tell you to use the Private space will not work!

Hi, looks like it! I have been trying for weeks and weeks to get the system to work as advertised and the WD engineers have finally stated that the PRIVATE space ( which is what they tell you to use) does not support the SMB1 data transfer protocol. Sonos state you must use the SMB1 protocol for streaming music to a Sonos device. So WD have produced the app to help you transfer your music AND they state you can stream your music but you can’t, Crazy or what!
You can put your music in the PUBLIC space but you can’t organise it etc in the Sonos app as it just appears as a folder, but at least you can stream it.
