I’m trying to connect my Chromebook to my MyBookLive but it keeps saying “Error mounting share. Check the file share URL and try again.” As a troubleshooting step, I tried typing the name (\server\share) in the address bar in Chrome and it keeps giving me search results instead of loading the index. I tried the same thing in Chrome on my Windows PC and can see an index of the files. I can access the device’s UI via the IP address on the Chromebook.
Update: I’ve read Chromebooks requires SMB3, I see mine is running 2.0.2. Is it possible to update to SMB3?
