Smartware can't open backup tab

I have MyCloud and I wanted to create a backup on my new win10 laptop.
I installed smartware and it works fine until I try to switch backup tab to perform first backup.
Then there are two options:
(1) The backup is not showing. The visual seems to freeze and processor usage grows to 20-30%. I can switch tab to another one and then it is ok (processor usage decreases to normal).
(2) The backup tab gui appears, but it is limited. Some parts are missing, e.g. the button in right bottom corner is missing text. The processor behaviour us the same as in (1).

Option (1) is the usual. The visual of (2) may vary.

Posting images of what you are seeing would help.

I have Windows 10 Home with all updates on both my desktop and laptop and have been using SmartWare for my backups now for three years without any problems.

I tried to reinstall wd smartware. And the result is still the same.
Does anybody know some other way to create an easy backup once a week on the wd mycloud?
