Slower speed when I share to private folder than the public one

I get speeds up to 73 mb/s when I copy to the public folder but only around 10 mb/s when I copy to the private folders (WD Discovery). I’m using Windows 10 and Catalina OS on Mac

How can I get the same speed as the public folder?
