Shuttle XL crashing my Mac

Today I bought the Shuttle XL 48gb

I followed the set up instructions.

Once I plug the thunderbolt into my Mac it crashes my computer EVERYTIME. No matter what I do it crashes my computer.

Also, the GUI doesn’t open an interface at all.

HELP!

I spent WAY TOO MUCH MONEY FOR THIS THING TO BEHAVE LIKE THIS!

What type of Mac are you plugging it in to?

Are you using an adapter to attach it to the system? Is it the Thunderbolt 2 or 3 model of Shuttle XL?

If it is Thunderbolt 3 your Mac needs to be on Sierra 10.12.6.

Thanks for the information. I updated the OS on the mac and everything is good now.

What I’m experiencing now is disk 1 is dead… Weird. Anyone ever experience this?

Drive showing as dead usually means RAID volume corruption. You can fix it with some assistance.
