Shares via DLNA

Good morning,

I have a 6TB MyCloud with a 3.0 USB hard drive attached.  I can see the folders on the MyCloud over DLNA just fine, but the folder on the attached hard drive is not visible over the DLNA connection.  I can see it just fine using the WD cloud app on my phone and tablet, but not over DLNA.  I have tried both an Xbox One and Xbox 360 and same result, so I don’t know if it is just an Xbox thing, or some with the MyCloud.  The shared option is on in the settings as well.  I have tried renaming the folder and still can’t see it.

Any thoughts or ideas on what the issue may be?

In the Dashboard:

Click Shares - then the share assigned to your attached USB drive

Make sure Media Serving and Public Access are on.

You don’t need to have Public Access turned on for Media Serving (DLNA) to work.
