Hi and welcome candae. If I understand correctly you’re trying to access the My Cloud dashboard? If that is the case follow the link below for some steps you can try.Â
How to access the Dashboard on a WD My Cloud, WD My Cloud Mirror, EX2, or EX4 Personal Cloud drive
Yes, I am trying to access the dashboard. But the web page adress in the instructions “wdmycloudmirror.com” doesnt work.
also the mcm software for setup cant find my device.
Have you tried using the My Cloud IP address to access the dashboard? You can also try using another web browser.Â
Yep, I tried the IP adrsess and it doesnt work too!

The instructions don’t say wdmycloudmirror.com, do they?
I’m guessing it says wdmycloudmirror.local?
It says wdmycloudmirror.com for pc, wdmycloudmirror.local for mac

No, it does NOT. Read carefully again - in the link jubei04 gave above, for a Windows PC it clearly says http://wdmycloudmirror/
Please follow instructions *sigh*
One other quick comment for general on this - the wdmycloudmirror address only works if you haven’t changed the name of the MCM in the device itself. If you have, then that name will be what you need to use instead. wdmycloudmirror is the default name of the device when it ships.
For example, if you’ve changed it previously to movienas, then you’d need to use http://movienas instead of http://wdmycloudmirror. It’s one I’ve fallen over myself in the past with these shortcut addresses (similarly for SMB access, you need to use \ for access).
