Safepoints and shared folder

I have My Cloud with Firmaware v04.04.02-105 and I’ve set my safepoints on WD elements Desktop by usb local link.
After a scheduled safepoint’s update, on MyCloud are been created several shared folders as you can see in the image.

I prefer to have only one shared folder named ‘Elements’ that is automatically updated.
Is this possible? Is there someone that can clearly explain this behaviour?


The external USB hard drive share name showing up multiple times is a well known issue discussed in several other previous threads. The solution is to remove the USB hard drive, then via the My Cloud Dashboard, delete all other instances of the USB hard drive name. Then reattach the USB hard drive and change the Share name back to its initial name via the My Cloud Dashboard.
