I have just had to reboot my Laptop and return it to factory settings. plugged in MYBOOK and it is asking for my password, as I have not had to use this in 4 years I have completely forgotten what it is even with the hints, is there any suggestions on how I get past this.
If you setup users and do not remember the passwords, you will need to log into the dashboard and change them. These are passwords set on MBL, not in Windows. If you do not remember the admin password, you might need to reset MBL. Check the manual, all is there.
If you never set private shares, just type a fake username without a password.
