Password issue

Hi

i seem to be able to connect to the dashboard, but when i try to open My Book and get Admin access my password is refused (would have thought it was the same).

is there a way to reset the admin password without losing the data ?

In Dashboard, go to Shares, and set all the shares to no passworld (publi access). 

Now go try to access teh MBL again.  If same problem, then you it is a problem with your computer not the MBL.

If it solves the problem, then either use it like this or go back to Dashboard, create a user with a password, and then set the share to password protected.

Yes, just hold the reset switch (With a paperclip) located close to the power jack until the unit reboots.
