Have a 2 Terabyte External WD Passport that was dropped. It makes the characteristic screech/click of damaged read heads when plugged in. The data isn’t worth the 800 bucks the recovery companies are asking, but I’d like to try and replace the heads myself. Is there a place to buy replacements?
