I have a hard drive that is no longer working but I’d like to get the data off if I can,
I understand how to replace the parts, but I’d like to know where and how I can purchase JUST
the read/write heads. I can see that the heads were damaged when the drive stopped working.
Anyone with any suggestions…
(( I have not had portable hard drive issues before Windows 10. However, AFTER switching to Windows 10 I’ve gone through 2-3 that have all had the same kind of problem. the drive(s) all start clicking after a sudden crash happens that happens with data that I’ve been writing. Never had this happen before this. And this doesn’t happen while on the Mac-Side of the computer either… Anyone else?))
