Red Light on Disk 1

I have four WD RED 2Tb NAS drives and I have just noticed that drive 1 has the normally blue led showing red. Under ‘Storage’ Disk Status-Disk Health has the word ‘bad’ . In ‘Storage’ Raid - Raid Health it says ‘Healthy’. In Raid Volume-Volume 1 Raid 5 it says ‘Good’. I assume that al of this implies that Disk 1 is faulty in some way.

Under ‘Utilities’ System Diagnostics A ‘quick test’ All disks ‘Passed’ Are there some other tests/repairs that I can carry out on the disk or have I got to consider buying a replacement?

In the ‘dashboard’ the Device Diagnostics window has the word ‘Caution’ displayed.

The system and drives were bought from ‘amazon.co.uk’ in July of this year. I would assume that they are covered by some sort of guarenttee. What should be my next step?

Through http://support.wdc.com/ the check if the drive is in warranty. Once you create an account you can give the drive’s serial number to find this out. If under warranty then it’s a simple RMA.
