wd my passport WDBYNN0010BBK, USB 3.0 (USB 2.0), 1 TB black I bought it from Egypt from 4 days and when i test it. it give me this numbers in test

is it normal i saw in wd site Product Overview (PDF)
User Manual (PDF) about it in USB 3.0 speed 5GB/s and in USB 2.0 speed 480 MB/s but when i copy to hard it gave me 23 MB/s and when i copy from my passport gave me 40 MB/s

My passport is USB 3.0 drive in order to utilize the full speed of the drive you need to make sure the drive is connected to USB 3.0 port.

Also, the speed mentioned in the user manual of USB 3.0 supports interface transfer rates ‘UP TO’ 5 Gb/s.
USB 3.0 is backward compatible with USB 2.0. USB 2.0 supports interface transfer rates ‘UP TO’ 480 Mb/s.

Speed of the file transfer to the drive also depends on the following points mentioned in the below link.
