Problems with links

When I create a link to files om MyCloud, recipients report back to me that the link doesn’t work: they get a message saying that ‘the device refused to connect’. Any one got any idea why this happens?

How do you create the link, with the desktop app or through mycloud.com and sharing? The below image shows information about sharing through mycloud.com. Click on, tap or activate image to enlarge it.
