Problem with files.mycloud.com and mobile app

Hello.
We have MY CLOUD EX2, the next day it is not possible to log in to the cloud via the files.mycloud.com website. I get from the mobile application to the cloud, but only in the local network. I can’t get to the cloud from the external network in any way. After logging in to the dashboard, I see that the connection is OK and also that the activated cloud access service is OK. Can someone please advise me where to look for a problem? There is no report of a problem in the dashboard. Thanks for the help.

OS3 system is up and working fine. Your source is incorrect. When I’ve had problems with remote access, it’s invariably a UPNP/Port Forwarding issue.

The response from WD Germany in that linked post is just plain wrong. You DO NOT have to upgrade to OS5 to have web access via files.mycloud.com. The My Cloud EX2 Ultra and My Cloud Mirror Gen 2 are just Gen 2 versions of the My Cloud hardware and work fine with OS3. In fact, there have been many, many, more problems with the OS5 version of the software than with OS3! I would caution anyone from updating to OS5 until WD has worked out the bugs - this is really just beta software at present!
