Os5 password forced and now I can't access drive over tailscale on windows 10

I just had to change my lan side IP range to avoid conflicts, not realizing I had set wdmycloud as a static IP. After switching back to the default IP range, I got back in my wd only to be hit with the os5 password reset. I did all of this and switched the IP in the settings for the new range, put my router back to the new range, my drive works on my windows 11 desktops fine. I have tailscale setup to access my local network remotely. I can ping the wdmycloud via the IP through tailscale and I can access the config page fine through it as well. But for whatever reason now my windows 10 explorer isn’t pulling that device to map the drive again.

also, since doing the os5 new passwords, none of my private share folders authenticate access over the smb. they were working previously, I don’t see firewall rules blocking it from being accessed. i can access my printer fine on my lan via tailscale

Update: I just checked windows firewall in/out rules and my private networks are enabled for all of the file and print sharing items. and tailscale wasn’t changed from private, IP connections to the device work, and since the page comes up I"m at a loss.

I just disabled file & Print sharing, rebooted, enabled F&P sharing again, still not coming up. If I remote desktop into my desktops in my network lan it is working fine.

just verified : The workgroup on the wdmycloud matches my Microsoft work group as well…
