Not being able to launch WD discovery

Hi everyone. I’ve downloaded WD discovery before and it worked well in the beginning. Two or three weeks ago it suddenly crashed. I guessed it was because the newer version is not compatible with my OS (macOS Mojave) so I deleted WD discovery and tried to re-install it to fix the problem.

I downloaded the desktop app from the My Cloud platform and installed as I did before. Somehow it kept showing “Version 3.4.89. You are currently running the latest version of WD discovery”, but I can’t find the app anywhere on my laptop, let alone launch it (the desktop folder).
