WD Discovery noticed to me about new version software and I choiced upgrade but after restart windows WD Discovery did not completed installation gave me setup failed error message with
I tried so many time to setup but always failed. Please Help me because I could not usinf my my cloude home device.

It does this to me every time now!
To fix,
- go to the mycloud website and ‘Get Desktop App’ instead of the updater.
- Quit the running app.
- Run the installer and install the new version over the top of your current one.
Unfortunately, it didn’t work. Doesn’t install the app. Western Digital did not even make a comeback about the problem. Shameful. I will try to prevent this company’s products from buying as much as I can and I will recommend it.
Sorry, out of ideas! Unless you are caring to delve into log files for inspiration, but presumably support would have asked for some of those, and I’m surprised they haven’t responded yet.
All I can suggest is uninstall and then a clean install though at a guess you’ve done 10 of those already…
I did all you said but there was no solution. Nevertheless, thank you for your interest and concern. WD is nothing more than a big disappointment.
