I have just bought a WD my cloud version II in 4 tb size.
I have had no reply from WD support despite sending the query via the dashboard as they suggest inc a down load of the drive as requested.
If any one can help I will be very greatfull.
on every pc we own regardless of windows version and in fact also on my Ipad when I try to login to the drive via http://my cloud I get the username and password request which then brings up a page which warns the security certificate is not recognised. This page suggest remedy which includes refreshing the original tab page which sometimes allows the software to be displayed but if it does it is with the HTTP shown in red and crossed out in the address bar and listed as not secure.
Is this a known problem and is there a solution any one can suggest please?

Hi there,
You can try disabling remote access from the dashboard of the unit and restarting it, then after the unit reboots enable remote access again. You can also check if the date and time are correct on the unit.

well it looks like it seems to be fixed, I carried out a complete restore on the nas the changed its name for login and that seems to have fixed the log in problem. now to find out why the usb 3 is so goddamn slow.
