I just purchased a SMP (my first ever media player) and have been transfering my movies to a USB attached 3TB WD My Book Essentials external HDD.
My question is this how full can you fill the HDD before you get into trouble?
I know when used with a computer, HDDneed some space to be left available for swap files, defragging and such but I don’t have any idea on this device. I’m quickly filling this drive up and wondered when I need to lay off since I don’t want to have to re-format after all the work of adding 400+ movies. I’m down to my last 600 GB’s or so:dizzy_face:
So if anyone has any history or best case suggestions I would love to hear them.
