New My Book 4TB...no power, NOT recognized by computer* or Xbox OneS

Brand new My Book 4TB will not work. Tried it with a Xbox One S and my iMac. (I have been using an older model for quite some time, did not have this problem.) I’ve tried multiple wall outlets and multiple USB ports (all are USB3) Any ideas? This is the second one tonight I’ve purchased and tried.
