Is that a final FW version for WD MYCLOUD ? No quotas, no applications to be installed, just a little change in GUI and “sharing” experience ? I saw a manual on beta site with many new features like possibilities to read logs without SSH, user and user groups quotas, CPU a net usage graphs, applications installed … is that all not for MYCLOUD users ?

How would we know? If any folks were involved in Betas, they’re usually not allowed to talk about it…

It’s a shame that there’s no official launch threads… Once again, we see poor communication from WD on this forum. How hard can it be to announce stuff when you launch it to the public?
Thankfully, we have Bennor to do their job for them… Shame he’s not got the right to make them sticky threads…

Its a shame several people in this forum have to do the job that should be being done by someone employed by WD. Yes WD should make posts to these threads right as the firmware is posted/made available or when software is posted/made available.
I got notified via IM on the moving of the files. Was scratching my head as to why they got moved since so many here were looking for updates on OS 3 and updates to fix a litiny of issues people are having. Like you, I don’t really visit other WD subforums outside of this one as such I never would have known about the release of that software unless I got notified via my Android device to the update or visited the WD Support Download section.
At the very least the mods should have locked the threads here or made copies of them rather than move them completely to other subforums. At least that way people who only visit this sub forum would see that there is new software or updated software/firmware. Instead we’ll get more threads started by people asking what’s going on or complaining about why their current software no longer works with the updated firmware.
