This drive WD Blue 1TB WD10JPVX with Firmware Revision: 01.01A01

required new firmware to fix hard disk drive spinup and spindown which addresses drive noise and intermittent freezing/stuttering.

Spinup and spindown like crazy every few seconds, and freeze all apps before spinup.

Thank You for answer, yes it’s working properly, I tried on different machines, also I have older model WD500BEVT “Scorpio Blue” 500GB and this one do not have this problem/behavior.

I’m not first person here who post this problem about this model and his continuous spinup and spindowns with lagging before spinup.
