WD Live Plus sees my computer (Vista) but can’t connect. I can access WD from my desk computer. Is Vista the problem?
Enable read AND write for your shares for “everybody” in Vista. WD Live doesn’t play well with the home groups and other network things in Vista or Win 7. Others have had sudden problems with sharing folders after months of usage. Read more posts onthis if they still exist. The networking discovery in this box isnot always reliable and doesn’t like to “heal” well after a disruption like the media server being disconnected or powered down. IOW it has a bad memory.
Buy a Boxee Box, they work.
