Netflix streaming erratic

Hi community!

Been a proud owner of WD TV Live for many months (year?) and had no issues with Netflix until the latest firmware update. Now, when we stream Netflix content, at some random point, it will hang and display the black screen with the title and loading bar, only to pick up seconds later, to hang moments after that… It is getting pretty tiresome.

Restarted the router, the WDTVLive (software reboot AND unplug/replug), to no avail.

Did my speedtest, same as usual, no drop in connectivity with ISP.

Could it be a problem with the latest firmware, as everything was OK before?

Hello,

Try rolling back the firmware to the previous version to verify if this will make this issue go away.

I have been having the same problems with Netflix since the firmware upgrade to ver 2.

I followed the instructions at the above link and downgraded the firmware to 1.6.

Netflix is now working again.
