MyCloudEX2Ultra - 2JBODs, 2 TimeMachine shares not working

Dear all,

just configured in my MyCloudEX2Ultra 2 JBOD Volumes in order to offer 2 TimeMachine backup volumes (TimeMachineBackup1 and TimeMachineBackup2) to my Mac’s. Volumes are visible and can be configured in Mac OS. So far so good.
But!.. Mac can only Backup to those Volume which I’ve last saved in MyCloud Admin general settings and MacBackup configuration (max Size). So both are accessible but not alternately.

Any idea why? Any MyCloudEX2 limitations here? Or MacOS limitations?

…Error symptom - TimeMachine cannot connect to spares bundle (but its accessible via finder) and the error message says… backup volume in network doesn’t support necessary functionality?!?
