Mycloud Windows app failed to connect to the device

I need to use windows app to access mycloud, it was working fine until recently can’t connect to the device. I can login using mycloud.com and mobile app, and my network is able to the WDMyCloud device. I able to use admin to login to the admin desktop. But could access using the windows app, when select the device the login name is not able to enter. Pls advise.

The My Cloud Desktop app (if that is what you are using) has been End of Life since 2016. The following WD Knowledgebase article has more information.

Right now one would have to use the MyCloud.com web portal or use the insecure FTP option to access a remote network My Cloud. For local network access one should be using Windows File Explorer to access the My Cloud.
