I upgraded to 4.04.05-101 firmware and now my MyCloud is spontaneously restarting on its own. About once every two or three days it seems. Random times. This never happened before the firmware upgrade.
Is this a firmware issue or is my NAS telling it’s on its last leg and time to go get a different product? It’s roughly two years old. 3 TB version. Have it 75% full of data. I do have a backup drive attached to it so if it does die I’m not screwed.

I don’t believe this is a firmware issue. Maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this.
