Mycloud just updated Firmware and it changed my USB name

I have a 4tb Mycloud with a 4tb mybook plugged into Mycloud USB
The problem I now am having after the last firmware is it changed the name of my USB drive by adding a number _2 at the end " XBMC_2nd_Drive_2"

How do I change the name back ? to “XBMC_2nd_Drive”

That is a well known and discussed problem with the later firmware. The solution (as discussed in numerous prior threads) is to access the My Cloud Dashboard and eject the USB hard drive. Then while still within the Dashboard access the Shares page and remove all instances of the USB hard drive still listed. Then reinsert the USB hard drive in the My Cloud USB port, access the Shares page again and rename the USB share name back to the default name.

The latest firmware claims to have fixed this problem. If the OP has the latest firmware, maybe it hasn’t been fixed…
