Mycloud Drives become invisible

Hi there

Since yesterday I have a very strange issue. My setup :

  • 1 PC with Win 10
  • 1 WDMycloudEX4100 with 3 hard drives, each mapped as a hard drive as W: Y: & Z:
  • 1 WDMycloud 4 TB mapped as Z:

Since yesterday, the 2 of my clouds, (the 4 TB more often than the other) becomes invisible on my laptop.
it is still acessible via my smartphone, my TV or my tablet .
When it becomes invisible, I have the usual red X on the icon and I get the message that the connection can’t be restored.
Solution? Switch from cabled internet connection to wifi and then back to cabled connection. Then all drives are visible again, Sometimes for hours, sometimes for 10 minutes.

I tried rebooting, I tried rebooting the modem/router…

Is this a known issue?

I forgot to say, the LED stays blue all the time
the WD quick access icon at the bottom does not indicate the name of the faulty drive anymore
and the error message also says the name of the peripheric is already in use

BEFORE someone JUST pipes in with ‘wrong forum’ (You know who you are) ,You have 2 shares with the same drive letter if your description is correct…that’s your issue

my bad, I had it wrong, 4 drives are W X Y for the NAS & Z for the mycloud

I did the 40 sec reset and it worked again for 36 hours
now the problem is back
